HOW DOES TANAOR™'S NANOTECHNOLOGY WORK?

We bring the latest advancements in technology to our jewelry, enabling us to incorporate the entire Bible into each piece in our collections.

Through nanotechnology, we are able to engrave the entire Bible (over 1.2 million characters) into a tiny microchip, smaller than the tip of a finger. Nanotechnology refers to the use of matter on a molecular scale, and is a technology widely in use today for innovations across a variety of industries, including medicine, electronics, manufacturing, and now - jewelry.

Working with the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Tel Aviv University, we developed and refined the technique for putting the Bible onto a small silicone chip to meet our design standards. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the University. The chips are created in our designated labs, where engineers use advanced tools and technology to engrave the Bible through e-beam lithography onto silicone chips, allowing us to write the letters on a microscopic scale.

TANAOR™ NANO BIBLE CHIP INSPECTED USING CONFOCAL MICROSCOPE IN DIFFERENT MAGNIFICATIONS

The creation of the chips requires seven distinct steps, including ultraviolet exposure and metallization. The end result is a chip 0.5mm2 that contains all 929 chapters of the Bible with more than 1.2M letters.

The text can only be viewed through a powerful confocal microscope with 100x magnification, professional equipment typically found in university and research laboratories.

Once the chips leave the lab, they’re incorporated into our custom-made designs crafted by master jewelry makers.

We are proud of this unique blend of innovative technology and stunning design that elegantly fuses meaning into our jewelry, so people all over the world can enjoy the timeless wisdom of the Bible with classic style, and carry it with them always.

A SINGLE NANOMETER IS ONE BILLIONTH OF A METER. THAT’S LIKE COMPARING THE SIZE OF AN OLIVE TO THE SIZE OF EARTH.
