Years ago, I was standing inside the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., looking at a tiny ancient object. It held actual words of Scripture — words people had carried close to their bodies.

Then the guide brought me back to a verse I couldn’t stop thinking about.

The ancient practice of binding Scripture made something feel very immediate to me: the desire to keep God’s words close has a long history.

And I thought about ordinary life. The worry that arrives before you’re out of bed. The phone call you don’t know how to face. The days when you believe — but your mind is still running in every direction.

When life gets loud, we need reminders of what our hearts already know.

One question followed me out of that museum: what if there were a beautiful, everyday way to carry the entire Bible?

In my family, meaningful things were made to last.

I come from a family that has worked with fine jewelry and diamonds since 1946. My mother, Veronique, and I share that heritage — and we built TANAOR together.

But my team stayed with me. And I kept coming back to the reason we had started.

After years of work, we finally reached the moment I had been imagining.
